Madeline and Ben were married in August 2015 at Harkness Park. Their dessert was an elegant lace wedding cake with alternating tiers of chocolate cake with peanut butter mousse filling and walnut cake with cannoli filling. The tiers were frosted smooth with vanilla French buttercream and accented with beaded borders. Fondant work added dimension to the overall design — fondant ruffle flowers covered the bottom tier, lace fondant appliques complimented the bride’s gorgeous gown, and a custom ivory fondant and rose gold monogram plaque finished off the second tier. The finishing floral touches were provided by Flowers for Awhile, and this cake was the perfect addition to another fantastic wedding catered by Gourmet Galley. Madeline and Ben had this to say about their cake:
