After three days of filming (one day during a snow storm) and preparation over the past two months, we can finally share the JCakes segment on CPTV’s All Things CT: Spotlight on the Arts. We were thrilled and honored when the producer of the show contacted us and wanted to do a creative story on JCakes. The piece does a wonderful portrayal of the cultural significance of cakes and of the exciting presentation of a specialty cake.
We would like to give a huge thanks to Ed Wierzbicki and his crew from CPTV who were phenomenal to work with and produced such a high quality film. It was a pleasure working with them. Hope also thanks her team Shannon, Katie, Paul, Sam and Melissa for the preparation behind the scenes and filmed demonstrations. The success of JCakes wouldn’t be possible without all of their hard work and support over the years.
love this spotlight on JCakes…They deserve all the accolades…we have been getting their cakes for our family celebrations for the past 14 years. and we hope for the next 25 yrs! or more… always beautiful, tasty and unique….thank you Hope and to her creative and patient , diligent staff.
Are you guys going to be opened in November. I heard you were moving to another location but don’t know when. Id like to order a birthday cake for my husband. We ordered a birthday cake for my granddaughter from you and I couldn’t believe the artwork and how delicious it was. I must say it was the best cake i have ever had.
